Beyond her acting talents, Gugu Zuma-Ncube has diversified her interests in various media-related businesses that span South Africa, Nigeria, and North America. Her journey took her to Los Angeles, where she joined the Africa Channel as an intern, gaining valuable insights into the international media landscape. Upon her return to South Africa, she continued to make waves in the industry and co-founded Stained Glass TV, an awardwinning production company. As an Executive Producer, she has led some of South Africa’s most popular and culturally influential television projects, including the country’s most-watched TV show Uzalo, as well as eHostela, The Wife, Durban Gen, Lingashoni, Ifalakhe, the Umjolo Film Franchise, Amalanga Awafani and The Polygamist.
