Kay Carmichael

Kay Carmichael, is a sought-after story artist specialising in storyboard work, story-breaking and sequential artforms. She’s worked for 12 years in the animation and live action industries, and done storyboards for a variety of commercial and advertising clients.

She’s worked on a number of television series and feature films including Moosebox, Netflix’s MamaK’s Team4 and Supa Strikas. Kay is also writer and artist for the comic book series “Sophie the Giantslayer.” In 2021 she completed her short-film “Troll Girl”. This year, she joined The Animation School JHB as head of Story for first and second year.
