With extensive experience in international business and the audiovisual sector, Mounia fosters cross-cultural collaboration and supports creators navigating the global market. Mounia serves as a board member of the Diversify TV Awards, an initiative celebrating diverse and inclusive television content. She is also the Africa Council Chair at the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, where she advocates for gender balance and representation in media. Her contributions have earned her the Black in Animation Award for Cultural Innovator in 2022, recognizing her innovative impact on the animation industry. A regular participant in industry events and festivals, Mounia shares her insights on the importance of representation and inclusivity in media.
