
Well-versed in film and TV, he has written and directed short films that showcase his proficiency in storytelling. These include Lil Bandz: Umrepha WeBeshu (Director). A multi-faceted creative, he served as Creative Director, writer, and Project Manager for advertising campaigns for MultiChoice’s spectrum of channels across the continent (with work across channels in countries including Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda) during his tenure at the renowned marketing agency Birthmark. He also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for 4th CYCLE, handling the company’s branding footprint across various platforms. He is the Production Coordinator and 2nd AD for 4th CYCLE’s debut Mzansi Magic TV film Kulungile eKhaya. “Accessibility to African cinema” is a core principle that fuels Njabulo’s creative drive. In order for our industry to expand its reach and influence, we need to create a sense of South African ubiquity, and this is what Njabulo believes will be the case as we build for the future.
