
She has shared her expertise as a lecturer at the SANZAF Entrepreneurship Program, where she empowered aspiring entrepreneurs to identify strategic business approaches and explore creative markets. Her passion lies in merging the worlds of animation and film, leveraging her profound understanding of organisational development to excel as a Producer. Palesa Masuku is driven by a mission to be a catalyst for transformation within the animation, film, and creative industries. She is passionate about uncovering opportunities in these fields and bringing projects to life that resonate with the African child. In 2023, she was honored with the Future Leader Award through the YES Youth Program, and was selected as one of five women in South Africa to participate in the Women's Intermediary Program at Wits University. Among her recent achievements, she produced the documentary Kazi and is currently developing a series of children's books. Guided by a deep desire to authentically represent African stories, Palesa is dedicated to championing narratives that capture the true essence of the African experience. Palesa currently serves as a dedicated Research Assistant at Chocolate Tribe, where she plays a pivotal role in driving in-house research development. Her expertise extends to contributing to vital funding applications, while also assisting in the coordination and facilitation of industry roadshows. Additionally, Palesa is actively involved in mentoring interns, ensuring the growth and development of the youth within the creative industry. With her commitment to fostering innovation and knowledge sharing, Palesa continues to make a significant impact in the realms of animation and production.
